The 2678 Framework
A proprietary five-stage methodology for approaching complex institutional challenges. Applied consistently across all TokenCap entities and strategic engagements.
“Oversight, thought leadership,
and the ability to execute.”
Every engagement begins with a precise articulation of the problem. Not the symptom — the structural root. We apply rigorous diagnostic discipline before any framework is proposed, ensuring that solutions address actual causation rather than observable effects. Ambiguity at this stage is the most common source of institutional failure.
With the problem defined, we construct the structural framework within which the solution will operate. This is not process design — it is architecture. We establish the boundaries, the decision rules, the accountability structures, and the governance principles that will govern everything downstream. The framework is the institution.
Inside the framework, we design the operational processes — the repeatable sequences of action that convert intent into execution. Processes must be documented, auditable, and resilient to personnel change. A process that only works because a specific person runs it is a liability, not an asset.
Procedures operationalize processes at the individual level. Where processes describe what must happen, procedures describe exactly how it is done — step by step, with defined inputs, outputs, and escalation paths. Procedures are the interface between institutional design and human execution.
The final stage is execution — the translation of procedures into discrete, accountable tasks performed by defined individuals within defined timeframes. At this level, success is measurable and deviation is visible. The framework closes when every task maps back to a procedure, every procedure to a process, every process to the framework, and the framework to the original problem definition.
